The Jon Baker Financial Group team volunteered for North Central Georgia Habitat for Humanity. It was a day dedicated to giving back to the community and we even had some of our clients join us!

Habitat for Humanity
Atlanta Community Food Bank Donation
We have a long tradition of holding our annual client event and Pie Day over the holiday season, but given COVID-19 safety concerns, we were unable to do so in 2020. Instead, we made a $5,000 donation to the Atlanta Community Food Bank to help those struggling. We’re honored to support the food bank’s mission and our community.

The 2019 annual client event was a special event for Jon Baker and the rest of the team. It showed that anything is possible when you have a great support group of family, friends and people that care about you. Plan for the future but cherish every moment with the people you love.

August 2018 | JBJG Team Building: Zip Line & White Water Rafting
What a great team building experience. The JBFG team traveled to Tennessee to Zip line and raft class 4 rapids, down the middle section of the Ocoee River.

Jon Baker clients dusted their boots and showed off their two-step at this year’s 17th Annual Client Appreciation Event. The County Fair theme was a huge success and we want to thank everyone that came out for this fun-filled event.

October 2017 | Kettering Women Atlanta
Jon Baker along with Serina Shyu were guest speakers at the monthly Kettering Women Atlanta – Dinner and Networking event. They discussed how retirement, children, and parents (the “triple squeeze”) affects executive women and how to plan to avoid certain pitfalls. Clarity was provided on a wide variety of topics including, health savings accounts (HSAs), healthcare/medical insurance, long term care, and estate planning.
October 2017 | JBFG Workshop | Pre-Retirement Preparation
Financial Advisor and speaker, Jon Baker conducted a workshop that included, retirees and pre-retirees. Jon provided insight and Individuals shared pre-retirement ideas with each other. It was an incredible workshop. Friendships were made, bread was broken and ideas were shared.

Kettering Track Day at Atlanta Motorsports Park was a fun filled event with Porsche drive along and Go-Karting – Special thanks to Brandon and City National Rochdale for sponsoring this great event.
March 2017 | Shamrockin’ for a Cure
In 2009 ShamRockin’ was born out of love and friendship. The idea of throwing a “party with a purpose” took off and has grown due to the blood, sweat and tears of 100s of volunteers and committee members sharing the passion for a cure.
ShamRockin’ is more than a party. It is more than raising money or awareness.
February 2017 | Atlanta Habitat for Humanity
Jon Baker and his team volunteered for Atlanta Habitat for Humanity – Clark Howard Build. It was a great and very rewarding experience and Clark Howard was on hand to show his appreciation to Jon Baker Financial Group and the rest of the individuals that dedicated their day to this great cause.
January 2017 | Annual Client Appreciation Dinner
Jon Baker hosted this fun-filled annual event at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta Perimeter at Villa Christina. The food and casino games were good but not as great as the dancing and karaoke from our wonderful clients.

Thanksgiving is an important time to express gratitude and as a token of our appreciation, Jon Baker Financial Group gave delicious apple, pumpkin and pecan pies from Alon’s Bakery to our wonderful clients.
September 2016 | End of Summer Bash
Jon Baker Financial Group hosted the 2016 End of Summer Bash at Verizon Wireless Amphitheater at Encore Park, Alpharetta. Clients, friend and family were treated to VIP seating for a showing of Star Wars: Episode VII with all the trimmings – food, drinks.. snacks and more snacks.
June 2016 | Teen Driving Bring-a-Friend Event at Atlanta Motorsports Park
In a controlled environment, teen-aged kids each got behind the wheel of a 2015 BMW 3 Series car and experienced a wide range of driving conditions, while learning about skid control, accident avoidance, braking and how to deal with unexpected hazards. Each Student received a certificate of completion.
March 2016 | All Pro Dads Dad at Buford Academy
Jon Baker was the keynote speaker at Buford Academy School when it hosted its final All Pro Dads Day breakfast for the 2016 school year. He spoke about happiness and overcoming adversity to a packed house of more than 250 kids and their dads.
