About Benjamin

Benjamin began his financial services career as an advisor with Edward Jones in 2003, where he trained more than 50 new financial advisors and became a limited partner in 2010. In 2014 he formed Bender Financial Services based on a desire to develop a more advanced, planning-focused approach for his practice.

In 2020, Bender Financial Services transitioned to Carson Wealth, partnering with a national firm and a well-known name in the profession.

He currently holds the following securities registrations: Series 7, Series 9&10, Series 63 and Series 66. In addition, he is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, a rigorous certification process that involves highly demanding education, examination, experience and ethical requirements. In addition to holding his CFP® certification, Benjamin was previously an adjunct faculty member at The College for Financial Planning – the institution that administers the CFP program.

Prior to his professional life, Benjamin graduated from the University of Missouri, during which he spent six months studying at the University of Alicante, Spain. He graduated in 2000 magna cum laude and is a member of Phi Beta Kappa, the nation’s oldest academic honor society.

An avid skier, reader and traveler, Benjamin lives in Highlands Ranch with his wife, Molly, daughter, Olivia and son, Thomas. The four of them are often found hitting the slopes or trying out the latest restaurants.
