Dave has been helping individuals and families in Michigan’s Great Lakes Bay Region plan for their financial futures for more than four decades. Dave has built his practice on a simple philosophy: provide thoughtful, independent advice and always place the client’s interests first.
As a Wealth Advisor, Dave works with professionals, pre-retirees, retirees, and small business owners, helping them navigate investment management, retirement planning, and employee benefit plans. Over the years, he has guided clients through changing markets, evolving tax laws, and life’s many financial milestones—always with a steady, long-term perspective.

Designations
The CFP® Designation
To earn the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® certification, individuals complete an extensive course of study and are tested on their knowledge of the financial process in areas including tax management, employee benefits, retirement planning, estate planning, investment management and insurance. To maintain the CFP® certification, the individual must obtain an additional 30 hours of continuing education every two years in those financial planning areas.
The CFS® Designation
To become a Certified Fund Specialist (CFS®) candidates must complete a one year course and pass a comprehensive exam. They must also meet annual continuing education requirements to maintain their certification. The CFS® program covers every aspect of investing as it applies to open-end mutual funds, closed-end mutual funds, fixed and variable annuities, real estate investments trusts and unit investment trusts.
