Dave specializes in investment management, retirement planning and employee benefits for a select group of clients including professionals, pre-retirees, retirees, and small businesses.

Dave has been working with clients in the Great Lakes Bay Region since 1981, providing independent no strings attached financial advice. As part of owning and operating his business, Dave partners with an independent network of investment professionals. With no proprietary products Dave is free to make objective recommendations.

He provides educational seminars and workshops several times a year both for his clients and their tax advisors. Dave and his staff are committed to providing his clients with the best possible service they can find anywhere.

Designations

 

The CFP® Designation

To earn the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) designation, individuals complete an extensive course of study and are tested on their knowledge of the financial process in areas including tax management, employee benefits, retirement planning, estate planning, investment management and insurance. To maintain the CFP® license, the individual must obtain an additional 30 hours of continuing education every two years in those financial planning areas.

 

The CFS® Designation

To become a Certified Fund Specialist (CFS®) candidates must complete a one year course and pass a comprehensive exam. They must also meet annual continuing education requirements to maintain their certification. The CFS® program covers every aspect of investing as it applies to open-end mutual funds, closed-end mutual funds, fixed and variable annuities, real estate investments trusts and unit investment trusts.
