Jon C. Mommaerts, CFP® leads with a perspective shaped by over 34 years of navigating the financial landscape. Jon lives in Marquette Michigan with his wife Jennifer. Although
Jon continues to work with all the advisors and clients serviced out of Marquette, MI, he has shifted the center of gravity in his practice to help solve for the high-stakes complexities facing High Net Worth and Ultra High Net Worth individuals.

Jon’s advisory style is sharpened by his own history as a high-level operator. With a background as a multifaceted entrepreneur—spanning building supplies, hospitality, manufacturing, services and commercial real estate—he doesn’t just analyze businesses; he understands the friction and flow of running them.

• Education: Finance degree from Northern Michigan University (’91), with specialized work at George Washington University and the American College.
• Governance: Jon currently contributes his strategic insight to the boards of Norway Springs, Inc. and Berkshire Springs Holdings Company, LLC.

A firm believer in the “Upper Peninsula” way of life, Jon’s commitment to his community is as much about action as it is about leadership. A lifelong endurance athlete, he cofounded the Noquemanon Trail Network and the Noquemanon Ski Marathon, transforming the region into a premier destination for Nordic skiing and silent sports.

• Public Service: Served a three-year gubernatorial appointment to the Michigan Ski Area Safety Board.
• Legacy Boards: Previous leadership roles include the Marquette Symphony Orchestra, the US National Ski Hall of Fame, and the Lake Superior Community Partnership and Superiorland Ski Club.

Alma Mater: A dedicated NMU supporter, Jon has served on multiple coaching search committees and was recognized with the Alumni Service Award in 2019
