Meet Kara
Kara brings a thoughtful, client-centered approach to financial planning, shaped by hands-on experience and a genuine commitment to helping others make confident financial decisions.
Kara Roloson graduated from Kirkwood Community College with an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration: Management, along with a certificate in Entrepreneurship. She began her career at Dupaco Credit Union as a Member Service Representative, where she discovered a passion for helping individuals, particularly those with growing wealth, navigate their financial journeys.
After mastering her role in member services, Kara transitioned into the mortgage department to broaden her knowledge of personal finance. Her desire to provide more holistic guidance led her to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance with a concentration in Financial Planning from Southern New Hampshire University. She graduated in June 2025 with a strong academic record, consistently earning Dean’s List honors.
Outside of work, Kara is passionate about health and fitness, specifically weightlifting. She also enjoys gardening and caring for her growing collection of houseplants. A creative in the kitchen, Kara finds joy in preserving her homegrown foods. At home, she shares her space with her husband, Cody and cat, Blu.
