Kelsey Ruwe is a Chief Talent Officer based in Omaha, Nebraska.

As Chief Talent Officer at Carson Group, Kelsey Ruwe is responsible for shaping the firm’s talent strategy to support long-term growth, advisor success, and a strong, values-driven culture. With almost 20 years of experience across executive leadership and human resources, she brings a practical, people-centered approach to building organizations that perform at a high level.

Kelsey partners closely with Carson’s executive team, leaders, and advisors to design and execute talent strategies that scale. Her work spans leadership development, succession planning, workforce strategy, M&A integration, and career pathing, helping to ensure that Carson attracts, develops, and retains the talent needed to serve clients and grow the firm.

Known for her ability to balance strategy with execution, Kelsey operates comfortably at both the enterprise and individual level. She has a strong track record of guiding organizations through periods of growth and change while translating complex business needs into clear, actionable talent solutions.

Kelsey has spent much of her career in founder-led and partnership-based environments, where talent decisions are closely tied to long-term value creation. She is especially passionate about helping leaders think intentionally about careers, capability building, and the human side of transition.
