Mark’s area of focus reflects his own experience – he works with executives, engineers, and technical professionals in transition. These transitions include retirement, mid-life career change, and widowhood.

Mark recognizes that spreadsheets are only part of financial planning and investment management. He enjoys collaborating with clients on goals and complex issues to help them understand their financial life. He provides customized guidance from an experienced, knowledgeable viewpoint that always has the clients’ best interests at the forefront. He brings in the proper professionals and strategies to ensure actions are completed and future needs are anticipated.

Mark is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). He received his BBA in accounting and finance from James Madison University and his MBA from Loyola University, Maryland.

In addition to his financial planning background, Mark has 20 years of experience in corporate accounting and management. Mark’s corporate experience involved working with engineers, mathematicians, and scientists with high-tech companies in the Baltimore-Washington area.

Outside of work, Mark enjoys biking, reading, and spending time with his four sons and granddaughter.
