Meet Matthew
Matthew Pearson has been a valued member of the team since 2006, working closely with retired Managing Director, Partner & Wealth Advisor Joel Worsfold. Throughout his tenure, Matthew has been guided by Joel’s vision and leadership philosophy—one rooted in respect, integrity, trust, and loyalty—which continues to shape his approach today.
As a Partner of the firm and Regional Director for the Midwest Region, Matthew provides strategic leadership, guidance, and resources to multiple offices within the Advisor Support Network. He leads and develops high-performing leadership teams focused on delivering exceptional client service, maintaining strong risk controls, and supporting advisors at every stage of growth. Matthew is deeply involved in driving firmwide initiatives that enhance scalability, improve operational efficiency, and elevate the overall advisor experience.
Prior to joining the firm, Matthew built a strong foundation in financial services through roles with Wells Fargo, where he worked in the Technology Information Group and as a licensed banker.
Matthew earned his bachelor’s degree in Finance with a minor in Economics from the University of Northern Iowa and brings more than 20 years of experience in the wealth management industry.
Outside of work, Matthew enjoys spending time with his wife, Heather, and their son, Jack. Together, they enjoy traveling, boating, and discovering new restaurants. In his free time, Matthew can often be found on the golf course, continually working to improve his game.
