Meet Ross

Ross Lawrence, AIF®, CEPA is an award-winning wealth advisor with a drive to help people that has characterized his career within the financial services industry. He earned Top Next Gen Wealth Advisor by Forbes* recognition on three separate occasions.

In the fall of 2008, as stock markets crashed and tens of thousands of financial advisors left the industry, Ross was an intern at Merrill Lynch while finishing his degree in Finance with an emphasis on Financial Management and Investment. Ross saw clients coming into the office in tears as they watched their life savings disappear. However, he also witnessed great advisors helping them through the devastating times. Witnessing those interactions convinced him that it was his calling to be a Financial Advisor to help people through life’s ups and downs.

A graduate of the University of Arkansas: Walton College of Business, Ross is an alumnus of the Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity. His forward thinking in the industry earned him an “Epic” alumni spotlight from his alma mater. He’s also a proud Eagle Scout and Ironman.

Ross currently is on the Board of United Way of Vernon County. He is a Past President of the Vernon County Chamber of Commerce Board and the Rotary Club of Nevada, Missouri.

When Ross isn’t in the office, he likes to spend time exercising his green thumb in the garden, traveling, or simply spending time with his wife Lorien.

The Top Next Gen list includes 250 rising advisors who help manage over $490 billion in client assets. Each advisor was nominated by their firm, then vetted and ranked by SHOOK Research. The rankings, developed by SHOOK Research, are based on an algorithm of qualitative criterion, mostly gained through telephone and in-person due diligence interviews, and quantitative data. Those advisors who are considered have a minimum of four years’ experience and the algorithm weighs factors like revenue trends, assets under management, compliance records, industry experience and those that encompass the highest standards of best practices. Portfolio performance is not a criterion due to varying client objectives and lack of audited data. Neither Forbes nor SHOOK receive a fee in exchange for rankings. Listing in this publication and/or award is not a guarantee of future investment success. This recognition should not be construed as an endorsement of the advisor by any client.
