Meet Sam

Sam Vande Weerd is our Managing Partner and a Wealth Advisor for Carson Wealth. He helps create a vision and unique plan for clients to determine what they want their money to do for them and how to take steps to meet those goals. He utilizes a complete financial planning process to best serve clients. Sam focuses on providing high net-worth and business succession planning. Throughout his professional career, Sam’s goal has always been to help people, and he believes when clients are able to use their resources to bless themselves, their families, and others, it can be very satisfying.

A graduate of Central College in Pella and Iowa State University, Sam has two decades of experience as an advisor. He holds a CRPC designation and also volunteers at The Well Resource Center in Pella, providing budgeting services for individuals and families in need.

Outside of the office, Sam enjoys spending time with his extended family and cheering on the Hawkeyes. An avid volunteer at his church, he also enjoys traveling with his wife, Jill.
